St Jean d'Aulps Station (formerly La Grande Terche) is one of those places where you still get the feeling you are in France and not a purpose-built resort overtaken by package holidays. The reason we love it here so much is because of this and the fact that you can spend the majority of your time skiing and not fighting the crowds associated with many of the larger resorts. However, if you feel like a day away from the slopes the region has lots to offer...
Where are we?
How to get from the airport
_Car hire is available from the airport itself but is much cheaper if organised beforehand. Two companies we would recommend for price and service are:
* Holiday autos
If you wish to avoid driving (seriously it’s not that difficult – try it!) there are a number of ski transfers that are available:
* Ski transfers
* Transfer intelligence
* Skiddy gonzales
There are also bus services both from Geneva airport (www.gva.ch) and the Navette shuttle bus connecting you to surrounding villages and slopes.
